OffMarketPBSA ("we") matches buyers of UK purpose-built student accommodation with off-market opportunities held by our regulated estate-agency partner. We are the data controller for the information described below.

What we collect and why

Mandate submissions: name, company, work contact details and your acquisition criteria, submitted via our form. We process these to identify and send you relevant opportunities. Lawful basis: legitimate interest (you asked us to match you with stock).

Market intelligence: we also maintain records of organisations active in the PBSA market, and business contact details of relevant professionals, compiled from public sources (press coverage, public registers such as Companies House and HM Land Registry, event programmes and company websites). Lawful basis: legitimate interest (business-to-business market research and introductions).

What we don't do

We do not sell your data. We do not send newsletters or marketing blasts. We contact you only about opportunities matching your stated criteria, or to maintain the accuracy of our records.

Retention

Records not confirmed or updated within 12 months are deleted or re-verified.

Sharing

Where a match progresses, relevant details are shared with our estate-agency partner, who handles the transaction. Infrastructure providers (hosting, email delivery) process data on our behalf under contract.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, or object to our processing at any time: privacy@offmarketpbsa.co.uk. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
